Score by Voice
Judges keep their eyes on the horse. Scores and remarks go on the sheet as they are spoken.
Sequence Equestrian Q gives judges a score sheet that fills itself in as they speak, ring stewards a live order of go, and the show office every signed test the moment it is sent.

Why S.E.Q
A volunteer scribe and paper sheets can run a show, but every sheet still has to be written out, carried to the office, added up and handed back. S.E.Q does each of those the moment the judge signs, which saves the office the adding up and helps the day run on time.
Judges keep their eyes on the horse. Scores and remarks go on the sheet as they are spoken.
Signed tests reach the office the moment they are sent, and standings update themselves.
When the show-ground Wi-Fi drops, judging carries on, and it syncs when the connection is back.
Judges, ring stewards, the office and the show manager each see what they need, and nothing more.
Live on Show Day
Something happens at the ring, in the office or at the judge's table. Choose one and watch who hears about it.
Workspaces
Each account opens straight into its own workspace: the judge to S.E.Q Scribe, the ring steward to S.E.Q Ring, the office to S.E.Q Office and the show manager to S.E.Q Manage.
The judge speaks; S.E.Q writes the score sheet.
Everything a show manager needs, in one place.
Keep the ring on time.
Every signed test, the moment it is sent.
How It Works
From the first rider list to the final placings, each step happens in the workspace of the person doing it, and everyone else sees it at once.
Upload the rider list, set up classes and rings, and invite your staff.
Riders are checked in and sent in on time; scratches reach the judge at once.
The judge scores and remarks aloud, reviews the sheet, then signs and sends it.
Every signed test arrives in the office, standings calculate, placings go out.
S.E.Q Scribe
Speech recognition can mishear. S.E.Q Scribe checks what it hears, sets aside lines it is unsure of for the judge's review, and leaves the final say to the judge, who reads over the whole sheet before signing it.
Pricing
No subscription and no hardware to buy. Each show pays a little for every ride scored, in one bill once the show is over. A per-show minimum applies, so the smallest shows pay the minimum instead. Scratches, no-shows and practice rides never cost a thing.
Volunteer scribes give their day for nothing, and shows are lucky to have them. Here is what changes when the judge scores by voice instead.
| With a Volunteer Scribe | With S.E.Q | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding Help | One for every judge, all day, who knows dressage shorthand, and a stand-in when someone cancels. | The judge needs only a tablet. There is no seat beside them to fill. |
| The Judge's Remarks | Shortened to keep up, and sometimes lost when the movements come quickly. | Written down as the judge says them, and read over by the judge before signing. |
| Nothing Left Out | A missed score, or a low score with no remark, is easy to miss in a busy ring. | Before the judge signs, S.E.Q says which movements have no score and which low scores have no remark. |
| Reading the Sheet | Handwriting that the rider and the office have to make out. | A clean, typed score sheet, the same in every ring. |
| Adding It Up | Sheets are carried to the office and added up by hand, one at a time. | Totals, percentages and standings work themselves out the moment a test is signed. |
| Riders and Families | Sheets wait at the office to be handed out. | Riders open their own score sheets on their phones once results are out. |
